An opportunity that started in 2005 with an internship on claim payment software has turned into a fulfilling career at Principal, giving me exposure from quotes to claims as both a software engineer and people leader. The majority of my time has been spent supporting 3rd party solutions or integrations, ranging from small add-ons to large enterprise SaaS providers. For over 10 years, I've been coaching teams on agile software delivery and (more recently) product mindset. Most importantly - I have a nearly 20 year old notebook full of hilarious, out-of-context quotes that make insurance talk...dare I say...fun!?
